Camrose Kodiak Hockey Camp a Huge Success

By Catherine Muri

The Camrose Kodiaks recently held their annual hockey camp. I felt that it was important to extend our gratitude toward the organization and the individuals involved.

The camp was an excellent experience for our son. As an observing parent, the Kodiak players worked alongside the young players for the course of the week and within close proximity. The young players were taught important skills that were within their capacity and the level of understanding. Our son left hockey camp with confidence and excitement about the upcoming hockey season. His attitude and abilities were greatly influenced by his experience with goal tender Devin Mcdonald, who in our belief, went above and beyond the expectations of his duty as a hockey coach that week.

As well as the exceptional individual attention from Kodiak players, head coach Boris Rybalka was involved in the planning and implementation of the daily program. The program met needs of all players, from beginning to more advanced. The Kodiak camp ensured that the children were engaged and involved at all times.

This truly is an exemplary hockey camp. We are looking forward to another fantastic camp next year.

Kindest regards,
Catherine Muri
