It’s your chance to get involved.
Alberta Arts Days will take place Sept. 18 to 20. This is a provincial initiative designed to “Discover, Experience and Celebrate” arts and culture. It is quite exciting because it means that all across Alberta communities will be “humming with creative energy!”
So far, 18 communities are planning 60 events over the three days and I would like to see Camrose added to that list. A committee has been formed and is growing all the time. Visual, performing and literary arts are all represented and we are planning everything from dance and art demonstrations to interactive sessions from the three disciplines.
The Centennial Museum Alberta has a vibrant arts and culture scene and Camrose is certainly part of that scene. Here is an opportunity to become united in our celebration of what Camrose has to offer. While we have several plans in the works, we are inviting others to join in. If you would like to plan something for all or one of these days let me know by Sept. 2 so that we can include you in the mix of what is going on.
